Article Marketing
Submitting articles still works wonders.
Use long-tail keywords to write articles for the top article
directories.
Do some keyword research and compile a
list of long tail keywords you want to target, bum marketing style. Now,
pick one or two keyword phrases that you can naturally use in
your author resource box.
Think of your author resource box as a
tiny sales letter – you have to really put some effort into
getting the click. Use a tool like this headline
analyzer to keep it compelling if you're having a hard time
with this.
Once you have your author's resource text
ready, it's time to write articles! You should target one –
three keyword phrases per article. Most of the time I target
two keywords because it still sounds natural and it saves me
time.
Don't stress when writing articles. Of
course, you should make sure they're of decent quality, but you
don't need to edit it a thousand times. Article writing
for traffic should be quick. Keep your articles short
(about 400 words) and get them done and submitted without
nit-picking over it.
You can afford to be selective about
which directories you submit to. You don't need to blast
articles to thousands of directories. I personally like to make
my first submission to
Ezine Articles. Then, I edit a few words and sentences
before submitting it to Go
Articles. Finally, I edit a few lines again
and submit it to Search
Warp.
I've also heard some good things about using:
(Note: not all of these are article
directories, but I think you could easily turn a couple
articles into a Squidoo lens or a hub).
So, what if you don't like
writing or just want to got more articles out there than you
can produce by yourself? I suggest you buy your articles
from Writers
With Personality they offer quality and great
rates.
